Shaping Community: A Collaborative Clay Art Experience

In this hands-on creative workshop, participants will work with moulding or polymer clay to design and decorate their own circular clay pieces. Using shaping tools, toothpicks, and their own creativity, participants will add textures, patterns, and details before painting their pieces with acrylic colours.

Once completed, the individual clay pieces will come together to form a collective artwork. Participants will have the option to string their pieces together or contribute them to a larger collaborative installation by attaching them to a wooden maple leaf cut-out. This shared creation will symbolize connection, creativity, and the power of many voices coming together to form something meaningful.

The workshop encourages artistic expression, mindfulness, and community-building through tactile art-making. No previous artistic experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
