Service Description

Impact Reflection & Ethical Storytelling is a practical learning experience designed to help participants recognize, reflect on, and ethically share the stories that demonstrate the impact of their work. Whether you're supporting clients, leading programs, or engaging communities, this course provides the tools to capture meaningful outcomes while respecting the dignity, agency, and lived experiences of those whose stories are being shared. To accommodate different learning styles and busy schedules, participants can choose between self-paced online learning or a live, full-day facilitated workshop. Both options include pre-work to build foundational knowledge before exploring the course's core concepts. The live workshop is organized into three interactive sections: Recognizing Impactful Moments – Learn how to identify meaningful interactions, milestones, and outcomes that reflect the value of your work. Shareable Moments & Ethical Storytelling – Explore ethical considerations, informed consent, trauma-informed practices, and how to determine when and how a story should be shared. The HEDR Storytelling Framework – Apply a practical framework to document and communicate stories of impact in ways that are authentic, respectful, and aligned with organizational values. Participants receive a comprehensive course workbook and practical resources to support ongoing reflection and storytelling long after the training is complete.
