Join us on April 4, 2023, for the HEDR Membership Meeting.  This month our special guest will be Linda Ivory from Halton Healthcare.  She will be talking about an exciting program called Project Search.

Linda started out at Halton Healthcare in 2005 as a HR Advisor and is currently an Organizational Development Consultant.  She is also the Business Liaison for the Project SEARH Program at the hospital and the lead Project SEARCH Liaison Advisor for Ontario.  Project SEARCH is a workplace immersion program for students with disabilities with the singular goal of competitive employment for every program graduate.  Linda believes in the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion for all and is focused on bringing equitable opportunities to those that are often overlooked.   Linda is also an active member/representative for various community partnerships in the Halton Region.  Linda has presented at various events for the Project SEARCH Program, Community Living, Halton Region and ODEN with a focus on employment and accessibility in order to assist those in our community with disabilities.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, has obtained the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation and is currently pursuing a Leadership and Inclusion Certificate from Centennial College in collaboration with Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. Linda also volunteers as a Scouts Leader under 1st Trafalgar Beaver Scouts in Oakville, providing a positive, fun and adventurous experience to the youth of her community and an opportunity to spend quality time with her children.
