Building a Stronger HEDR: Workshop on the Future Organizational Structure
Membership consultation to review current operational structure.
Time & Location
May 11, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
About the event
Facilitated by Kylie Castro, an experienced consultant from MODASE Inc., this workshop will explore various options for the organizational structure of HEDR. Kylie brings a wealth of expertise in organizational development and will guide the discussion in a way that ensures everyone's voice is heard and respected. The workshop will use a combination of individual reflection, small group discussions, and large group dialogue to achieve a shared understanding of the options available and their implications.
The workshop will be structured around three main themes:
- Understanding the current challenges facing HEDR and how the future structure can address them
- Exploring different options for the future organizational structure, including their benefits and drawbacks
- Voting on the future structure of HEDR based on the feedback and consensus reached during the workshop
Our goal is to build a stronger, more effective HEDR that is better equipped to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in Halton. This workshop is a critical step in achieving this goal, and we encourage all HEDR members to attend and participate actively.
