The Halton Equity and Diversity Roundtable (HEDR) is dedicated to developing and sharing; their own resources (e.g. promising practices and strategies from our own member agencies in Halton) and resources from other communities (e.g. practical tools and tips developed by other organizations that our members recommend and have found useful)
ORGANIZATIONAL SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOL
Developed by HEDR's resource work group, the Organizational Self-Assessment tool assess the practices and organizational culture regarding equity, diversity, and inclusion. The tool provides benchmarking and action planning.
HALTON DIVERSITY RESOURCE GUIDE
This Directory of Resources is aimed at creating awareness and providing resources to racialized residents. The goal of this document is to provide Halton Region’s Indigenous, Black and other racialized residents with the opportunity to access resources that address their needs; promote inclusion, and fill the gaps in resources unavailable to them.
2022 BELONGING & RACIAL IDENTITY IN HALTON REPORT
The purpose of this research was to further explore and truly understand how to provide First Nations, Inuit and Métis, and racialized individuals with a greater sense of inclusion in all areas of life, as well as in the decisions they make within the communities where they live, study and work.
