Sobre o evento
What do employers look at when they’re hiring? Many expect strong people skills. Job guides often say that eye contact and body language are important. They expect strong executive functioning skills. Organization, punctuality, and engagement are expected in most fields. People who can’t meet these expectations are often not hired.
Before neurodiverse people can even set foot in an office, they’re set up for failure. They are often either un or underemployed. High school graduates with ADHD earn about 17% less than their peers (CHADD).
In this workshop you will learn about neurodiversity and how you can create more inclusive spaces for people who are neurodivergent.
