SPORTS EQUITY PANEL

The Burlington Gymnastics Club and the City of Burlington, and Halton Equity DIversity Roundtable are working together to remove barriers so everyone can play. We have partnered to bring you this amazing learning opportunity. These learning  orums will provide perspectives from people with lived experience who have been success ul in making changes toward a more diverse, equitable and inclusive (DEI)  uture in sport.

Each forum will  ocus on removing barriers, increasing access and participation in sport through thought provoking discussion, practical examples and lived experiences.

You will come away with:

• An understanding o  barriers to participating in sport

• An increased knowledge o  how to be more inclusive in your organization

• How other sports organizations are implementing DEI best practices

• Opportunities to potentially receive funds to help make changes that matter
