This introductory session explores nine inclusive strategies for collecting DEI data in ways that are ethical, respectful, and meaningful. Participants will build a foundational understanding of how to collect, analyze, and interpret data through a DEI lens, with a strong emphasis on appropriate, responsible, and context-aware data use. The session highlights common pitfalls, key considerations around consent and trust, and how inclusive data practices can support better decision-making and more equitable outcomes. For organizations looking to go deeper, a half-day session expands on these concepts with additional tools, frameworks, and case examples. A full-day session offers a highly interactive experience, featuring hands-on labs and real-world scenarios that support practical application and organizational readiness. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with practical tools to leverage data in fostering more equitable and inclusive environments.
