Membership Meeting

Join us for our May Membership Meeting, a space for connection, learning, and shared reflection with the HEDR community.

This virtual session will include updates from our members, an overview of what’s happening at HEDR, a conversation with Dr. Leah Levac from the University of Guelph, and a facilitated discussion focused on Ethical Fundraising. As organizations navigate increasingly complex funding environments, it’s essential to approach fundraising in ways that are aligned with values of equity, dignity, and accountability.

During this interactive lab, participants will explore how to integrate a DEI lens into fundraising practices. Together, we’ll examine common challenges, reflect on power and representation in fundraising narratives, and share strategies for building ethical, community-centred approaches that align with organizational values.

This session is designed for members at all stages of their fundraising journey and offers a collaborative space to learn from one another and strengthen our collective practice.
