The Halton Equity Diversity Roundtable relies on three working groups to help accomplish our mission. Working group members help us plan and implement HEDR programs and services.
A Working Group of the HEDR Membership, the working group identifies learning opportunities for the HEDR Memberships and assist in the planning of anti-oppression workshops, membership meetings, and the annual EDI conference.
OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT
This working group focuses on initiatives to outreach to and engagement the HEDR Memberships. This includes our digital engagement strategy, newsletter, and networking opportunities in Halton.
The Resource Development Committee collect information on promising practices and activities in other communities. They also Develop resources related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Finally, the resource development committee oversee our evaluation functions by assess community needs.
